Assam TET 2019: Important Dates, Eligibility, Application Process, Syllabus

The Assam Teacher Eligibility Test, abbreviated as Assam TET, is conducted by the Department of School Education, which is also known as the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), of the State Government of Assam. Assam TET is the deciding factor for the recruitment of teachers in the government as well as private schools of Assam. Candidates who are looking forward to a career as a teacher in any government or private school of Assam have to appear for this exam and fulfil all of its eligibility criteria to be considered for vacancies.
Assam TET 2019 is being conducted after a gap of seven years. The exam is for recruiting teachers for the lower primary and upper primary classes in schools. The lower primary category includes classes from 1 to 5 whereas the upper primary category pertains to the classes 6th, 7th, and 8th. The Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhijan (RMSA) is the body responsible for Assam TET 2019. Candidates will find all important information regarding Assam TET 2019 here.

Assam TET 2019 Important Dates

The Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhijan has announced that Assam TET will be conducted in 2019 after a long period of seven years. The tentative dates of all important events are also announced by the authority. Candidates who are interested in applying for the vacancies of teachers in the government and private schools of Assam must keep a track of all important dates. Assam TET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

A set of eligibility criteria for Assam TET 2019 that is required to be fulfilled by candidates for being able to sit for the exam is released by the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhijan on their website. Candidates who are looking forward to appear for the exam must ensure that they qualify the eligibility criteria for Assam TET 2019. Those who do not fulfill the conditions will not be considered for recruitment. The eligibility criteria of Assam TET 2019 is given below.

Assam TET Eligibility Criteria 2019 Lower Primary Level:

The Assam TET eligibility criteria fo lower primary level (class 1st to 5th) is given in detail below:
  • The applicant must have completed his/her class 12th education from a school of a recognised board.
  • The applicant must have cleared all the subjects in his/her class 12th final examinations.
  • The applicant must have at least 50 percent marks in his/her higher secondary examinations if he/she belongs to the general or open category.
  • The applicant must have at least 45 percent marks in the higher secondary examinations if he/she is from a reserved category like SC, ST, or OBC.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam TET 2019 Upper Primary Level:

The Assam TET 2019 eligibility for upper primary level schools (6th to 8th) is given in detail below:
  • The applicant must have completed his/her class 12th education from a school of a recognised board.
  • The applicant must have cleared all the subjects in his/her class 12th final examinations.
  • The applicant must have at least 50 percent marks in his/her higher secondary examinations if he/she belongs to the general or open category.
  • The applicant must have at least 45 percent marks in the higher secondary examinations if he/she is from a reserved category like SC, ST, or OBC.
  • The applicant must have completed his/her graduation from a university that has received UGC recognition.
  • The applicant must have secured 50 percent marks on aggregate in his/her graduation.
  • The applicant must have a two-year B.Ed (Bachelor in Education) during his/her graduation.
  • If the applicant has not done graduation from a recognised university, he/she must have done a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from any recognised institute.
Apart from these, the candidate must qualify the eligibility criteria declared by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and its norms.

Assam TET 2019 Age Limit

  • The minimum age that is acceptable for appearing in the Assam TET 2019 exam is 18 years.
  • The maximum age which is valid for sitting for the Assam TET 2019 examination is 44 years.

Assam TET 2019 Examination Pattern

The Assam TET 2019 examination will be conducted offline via pen and paper method. There will be two exams, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be for candidates who wish to apply for the position of a teacher in lower primary classes (1-5). Meanwhile, Paper 2 will be for those candidates who want to be recruited as a teacher in upper primary classes (6-8). If an applicant wishes to be considered for recruitment in both the categories, that is from class 1 to class 8, he/she will have to appear for Paper 1 and Paper 2 both. APDCL Online Application Process 2018 : Problems & Solutions,

Here is a set of basic instruction issued by APDCL regarding this. Pl go through this carefully. 

Candidates are required to apply online through the website www.apdcl.org and click on ‘APPLY ONLINE’ on the ‘Career’ section in the Home page of APDCL website. It will redirect to the Online Application Portal for recruitment.

Candidates are advised to apply through desktop browser only preferably Chrome, Firefox or Opera & not through smart phone or any type of mobile phone browsers. Candidates are also advised to use network connectivity of good speed (preferably more than 1 mbps) while filling up online application form.

Step 1: New user Registration
 

a) For Registration, click the ‘Register Now’ option. Here the candidate has to enter Mandatory fields like: Post Applied for, Preferred Company, User ID (Mobile No) & Password.
b) Please choose the mandatory fields correctly. Candidates will not be allowed to change these values once the registration is completed.
c) Please provide valid Mobile Number (User Id) at the time of registration. Verification OTP will be sent to the Mobile Number provided at the time of registration. Please note that the OTP sent will be valid only for 30 (thirty) minutes.
d) All communications will be made primarily through the registered mobile number.
e) Password should be of minimum of 8 (eight) characters.
f) After successful registration, Candidates are advised to note down their user ID (Registered Mobile Number) and password which will be required to login to the system for completing the online recruitment application.
g) Before applying online, the candidates should keep ready soft copy of scanned image of the latest passport size photograph (Size minimum of 20 KB and maximum of 100KB with Resolution minimum of 200 x 200 Pixels and maximum of 250 x 250 Pixels) and scanned signature (Size minimum of 10 KB and maximum of 100 KB with Resolution minimum of 200 x 40 Pixels and maximum of 250 x 60 Pixels), both in .jpg/.jpeg/.png format only for uploading while applying online.
h) In case the candidate forgets the Password, he/she can click on “Forgot Password?” option to reset the password after providing requisite details.

Step 2: Online Application:

 

a) After successful registration, candidates are advised to login by entering their user ID (mobile No.) and password in the login page.
b) Candidates are advised to fill up all the Mandatory (*) fields.
c) The candidate should enter his/her full name as per valid ID proof. The documents that are considered to be a valid ID proof are: Mark sheet/Pass Certificate from Govt. recognized school/college, PAN Card, Passport, Bank Passbook, Driving License, Voter ID, Aadhar Card & College ID Card.
d) After entering all the details click ‘Save and Next’.
e) Candidates must select the “Declaration” Check box to “Finish” the online application.
f) Once the candidate clicks on the “Finish” button in the Application Form Preview, the candidates cannot make any changes in the Application Form.


Step 3: Payment
 

a) Upon final submission of the Application Form, the candidate will be able to pay the Application Fee.
b) PWD candidates are exempted from paying the fee. They may directly download the Application form
c) Upon successful payment of the Application Fee only, the Registration Number will be generated and the candidate will be able to view/print the Final Application Form and Payment Receipt.
d) However, in case of “Failure” transaction,


1. If Real-time failure occurs at bank’s end, the respective bank will refund the amount paid by the candidate to the account from where it has been debited.
2. If failure occurs due to broken transaction at recruiter’s end, the amount paid by the candidate will be updated in the recruiter’s database within 3 (three) working days from the date of payment and the payment receipt will be made available in the candidate’s portal.

 
To avoid last minute rush, candidates are advised in their own interest to submit ONLINE application much before the closing date since there may be a possibility of inability/failure to log on to the website of APDCL on account of heavy load on the internet or website during last days. APDCL do not accept any responsibility for the candidates not being able to submit their application within the last day on account of aforesaid reasons or any other reason.

How to fillup online Registration form by GUWAHATI University

Help:- This is a Student Help Guide to help them fill their Online Registration Form Step by Step. How to generate the Application No. 
Step 1:Go to www.guportal.in
Step 2: Click on Registration Link on the left hand side of the page.

After clicking on Registration Link, below option will be opened upfor login and new registration.

Step 3: Click on the “New Registration” link to fill the New Registration Form.
 Step 4: Fill in the form with the correct details


Note: This Form will generate the Application No. which will be later on used to fill the complete Registration Form.
Note: If student is already registered with Gauhati University then please tick on “Are you already registered in Gauhati University” and enter the University Registration No.
 Step 5: Click on “Register” buttonto submit your basic details.



How to Complete the Registration Form.
Step 1: Re- login with the Application No. and DOB to complete the registration process
Step 2: After login you cancheck the Personal Details and continue to fill the registration form by entering the Address and uploading your Photograph and Signature. A18117781

Note: The Photo uploaded should have dimensions of 413x531 pixels up to 100Kb.
The Signature should be not less than 512x128 Pixels and size should be up to 100Kb.

Step 3: Click on the “Save & Next” button to save and move the next page.
Step 4: The Preview option is to check the form details which you have fill.

If there is any changes which required you can edit them by going to their respective tab.
Step 5: Check the Fee on the bottom of the page. Step 6: Selecting the declaration, after thatclick on the “Accept and Submit”button to finally submit the Registration Form.

Payment Method

Pay At College Level Those Students who have submitted their registration fee along with their admission fees at college level need select “Pay at College Level” option. For these Students the college will pay their registration fee to University using the portal provided by university. Important Note: Once clicked on the submit option you cannot change any details, it is suggested to check the details properly before Submitting the Form. Step 7:After selecting Accept and Submit the payment gateway page will be opened for the student to do the online payment. Note: The Students whose fees are waived off by the college need to select “Waive Off” option for the fees waiver cases.
Step 8: After payment submitting a new tab will appear where you can download the Registration Form
Registration is completed now wait for the college to accept the form. After successful approval of your application by college and university you will receive a Registration No. which will be shown in this download section as Provisional Registration Certificate for your reference.

Anundoram Borooah Laptop Award Scheme 2018

Anundoram Borooah was the first civil servant from Assam. On his name an award was introduced in 2005 as Anundoram Borooah Laptop Award Scheme. In this scheme the government of Assam is providing laptops to the students of class 10 whose result is very well. From last year it was revised to 75% but before that there was 60% to be obtained by a student in HSLC and AHM Examination which was conducted by SEBA to eligible for this award. Every year Secondary Education Board of Assam, in short SEBA conducts High School Leaving Certificate and Assam High Madrassa Examination for students who are reading in class 10 and also this award is presented to those students whose performance is very good in this examination.

Anundoram Borooah Laptop Award Scheme 2018

This scheme only covers students of Assam and who passed examination under SEBA. From last two years the process is quite easier as compared to other years because Government of Assam is started online procedure for eligible students.
